A dimension key will have multiple entries in the Fact table, so the cardinality according to me should be 1:Many (Dimension:Fact)
ReplyDeleteAfter much more browsing on the above topic, I found that there might be many to many relationships between fact and dimensions , in which case the concept of bridge tables comes in.
ReplyDeleteEx - Order Fact table and Salesperson dimension table.
1 sales person can take multiple orders and multiple sales persons can collaborate on a single order.
